Well i think you should do a mix of brown and pink, very soft but also very intense look to your eyes. Also i like black or navy blue eyeliner. And bronzer, with a little pink blush. Also a little waterproof mascara (works the best.) I have greenish blue eyes and blondish hair and tannish skin.... for hair, i also like really long curls and put, herbal essences totally twisted in. It makes them real bouncy. And i like shoulder lenght (or a little more) straight hair, with the bangs pulled back (it doesn't matter if it's long or shorty bangs.) Hope this helps.

No, the smokey eye look can definitely work for you! Just use shades that are more suited to your skin tone and facial features. Don't use anything that is pure black, as it will take away from the brightness of your eyes and appear very dark on the skin. Your best bet is to use a charcoal gray eyeliner for lining your eyes, then smudge, and eyeshadows in shades of either purples (to bring out the green), or light and dark shades of blue (to bring out the blue more). The smokey effect will look terrific because charcoal gray will give the desired look while not being too dark for your bright features. Gray will also offset the green and blue tones in your eyes, allowing them to pop out, while being harmonious with the smokey look you want.

Hope this helps, Good Luck!
I also have dirty blonde hair and green eyes. Shades of brown look the best on me. Get the three color palette eyeshadow. First, cover your whole lid with the lightest color in your palette. Then, take the second darkest color and cover the lower part of your eyelid. Finally, fill in the crease area with the dark color. If you want a smokier look, use dark brown liquid liner on your top lid and a little dark brown shadow to line your lower lid. Hope that helps!!
You are probably right...black may be too dark for you. If you want the traditional ';smokey'; look, try using a dark charcoal gray.

I personally think that you would look better with a brown and gold smokey eye to bring out the blue. Use a brown kohl/pencil liner close to your lashes, and be sure to smudge and blend. Use a gold shadow on your lids, and a darker gold or light brown in the crease. Be sure to blend! That is how the whole look comes together. If you like the idea, use a highlighter under your brow bones and and at your tear ducts.
Go for a more natural look. Brown eyeliner, brown or gold eye shadow, even brown mascara. Smokey might be too strong for your face. You could try it though.
use a purple..i have the same hair color and eye color is similar and purple (light, dark, sparkly) usually looks good on me
