hello rocker chic

i think what you are trying to achieve is the smoky eye look

its really easy and it looks so freakin awesome!

1.)just apply some eyeliner on the top and the bottom of your eye where your lashes are

2.) use a q-tip or brush to 'smudge' the makeup, after that you can apply black eyeshadow (black is what you wanted right?) on the lid of your eye from out to in.

3.)blend the eyeliner and the eyeshadow with the q-tip or brush make the end of your eye darker than where your tear-duct is.

You could always just use eyeliner....but if you want to use eyeshadow, go to a makeup store or just like a walmart or target or something, and buy a brush called an eyeliner brush or something along those lines. It works like eyeliner, but gives it a softer look. I use one everyday, and it works great.
This sounds crazy, but try using WATER PROOF mascara. Take an angled brush, the tip of a foundation sponge, or a Q-tip (whatever you can find) and wipe the mascara on the tip.

Then apply the mascara to your lashline. Go over that with eyeshadow, using the same object.

Hope it helps!
With an angled eyeliner brush you can achieve that effect. Dip into black shadow, apply close to the lash line as possible, go over your line with a Q-tip to soften, and voila. Inner rim eyeliner increases the effect as well.

Hmm I Think This Will Helps With The Eyeshadow under the eye.
liquid eyeliner in black makes it look really really dark. slightly damp brush with dark grey or black applied to the inside of the eye and smudged underneath also looks groovy
do it like your putting on eyeliner
