I'm not sure what color eyes you have but basically you want to use a color that complements your eyes the best. Of course it also has to match your skin tone and hair color. I have brown eyes and experts say that green is the best color to make them pop. But really you can use any color you like as long as you use the correct amounts and highlight it well.

You choose your main color for your lid. Highlighting can be done with shimmer shades of a lighter color than the color your using on your lid, or with white colors. You want to highlight the area right under your eyebrow. The space between your lid and highlight should be a shade in between those 2 colors or can be a shade that basically matches your skin tone.

I never used to like how eye liner looked on me but then I found out I just wasn't using it correctly. Most people say to use a liquid but on me it always came out too bulky and dramatic looking. The whole point of makeup is to look like your not wearing any at all, but at the same time use it to highlight the features you already have. Use a eye pencil. Take it from the innermost corner of your eye all the way to the end of your lid. Keep it as close to your lashes as you can. When you finish use a q-tip or some cotton and graze over it. You want to do that to remove any excess and also to not make it look so polished.

Lately a hot style is not using matching shadows and liners. For example most people would use brown shadows and brown liners, but now purple shadows are with blue liners, stuff like that.

When putting on mascara, use a volumizing kind(they really do work better). At first I was against spending $9-$12 on mascara but then I saw the difference in one that was more money and it was so worth it. I'm not saying it has to cost more to work better, it's just the experience I had with mascara. You want to take the wand and get as close to your lid as you can and do a slight wiggle when you pull it through. This helps to separate the lashes and plump it up more. You want to do it about 2-3 times per eye as fast as possible. Once it dries dont go over it again-thats what causes clumps!! With the wiggle trick it usually does the job good enough that you dont need to curl your lashes.

Another tip is to use these powders they sell now that are for helping your eyeshadow stay on longer. You apply it before the shadow. Also the way a lot of shadows are sold now come with 4 colors together. They are all part of the ';family';. They are used for the lid, highlighting everything. They go all perfectly together-it really is the best way to buy it, that way you know those colors go perfectly together. When you buy your liner in some stores they will show you what shadows they go perfectly with.

Hope this helps you some. Just remember no matter what you are beautiful the way you are and all makeup will do is add to that beauty =)Best make up tips for big eyes?
Using light, shimmery colors make eyes appear larger, while using lots of dark colors and all around eyeliner makes them look smaller. I would suggest using a taupe or light brown shadow on your eye lid, using a shimmery champagne on your browbone, using a bright shimmery white for your highlight and on the inside corner of your eye, and drawing a super thin line with a liquid eye liner on the top only, and curling your lashes and mascara on the top lid only (bottom makes your eyes look smaller and draws attention to bags or undereye circles). Make sure to use liner and mascara colors that will bring out your natural eye color-navy and brown for blue eyes, evergreens and dark plums for green eyes, deep purples and golden browns for brown eyes, and deep greens and grays for hazel eyes.
youre best bet would be going all natural. when you have big eyes naturally you need to play them up naturally. i would suggest applying medium/darkish brown eye shadow on your lid but not above the crease. then smudge some under your eye. if you want the look of eyeliner without the boldness, then apply balck mascara. if you want your eyes to just look bigger, then apply clear or brown mascara. the main rule in playing up your eyes is to keep them the focal point. if you want to play up your eyes then do a nude lip, no shimmer, maybe some bronzer blush on your temples and upper jaw. also, dont apply foundation all over your face, it doesnt look natural! happy make-up-ing! :)
I hope this youtube video will help. You're probably not asian, but this girl is kinda pale and has big eyes and black hair. Best of luck!
