Make up tips for blue eyed brunette??

I have straight, chocolatey brown hair and my skin is (sometimes dry) but generally porcelain (I tan easily as well so it's sometimes sallow). My eyes are average size and my lashes aren't very long! I have nice, plump lips that I would like to accentuate...!

I would like a cute party look for Christmas and I was wondering if anyone had any (serious) colour/makeup tips??? My dress is sparkly and gold...

A Little Indulgence: Makeup Colors for Dark Hair and Blue Eyes

Using pinks, berries and wood roses.

We often find ourselves reaching for the same old colors year after year. In this section of Beauty.about.com, I will be putting together mini lessons of colors that you might never have considered.

In the graphic to the right you will see a face with several numbers pointing to different areas. Below, you will find details explaining what each number represents along with the necessary instructions for placement.

**Remember that the shape of your eyes, nose and face in general are going to be different from the next person who uses these colors. This is your time to play makeup artist. Use the colors suggested and try placements that you might never have tried before. You might find a brand new technique that you will love!

1. Shadow for lid: shimmering pink to emphasize the blue.

2. Crease Area: none

3. Liner: Black smudged into lashes.

7. Beneath Eye: none

4. Mascara: For this fresh clean look, we are using no mascara, or if you can't live without, use a very light hand.

5. Blush: We are using a different color and texture for our blush for this look. Imagine a rosy wood shade that stains the cheek rather than the typical powder look. Be sure to blend well.

6. Lips: Think raspberries and then finish with a topcoat of gloss.

1. Shadow for lid: soft bronze

2. Rosegold in the crease and above depending on eye shape.

3. Liner: navy

7. Beneath Eye: Use more of the soft bronze that we used as a shadow earlier and sweep it below the lashes.

4. Mascara: Black but just one layer for a natural look.

5. Blush: We are combining two colors for our blush... a rose and a peach combination. Be sure to blend well.

6. Lips: Start with a light application of peach for the first layer and then pick up a little rose and blend it into the peach.Make up tips for blue eyed brunette??
Try going to 'Body Shop', they will give you a free make over. Alternatively just experiment, try gold eyeshadow with a thin line of eyeliner and lots of mascara.Just remember if you play up your eyes keep your lips natural and vice versa!
I would say go with some light pink eyeshadow on your top lid and line it with some brown eyeliner on bottom and top and get leanthing mascara in brown and for your lips put on some brownish/pink lipstick or lipgloss and on your cheeks but a pretty light pink on um and you would look realy pretty. Also either straighten yoru hair or banana curl it!!! Have fun and yoru dress sounds really pretty

im a brown eyed brunnete you should use mineral make up
first that all you have to focus in one area. lips or eyes, always one has to be stronger than the other. acording with youu eyes' color you can choice between dark green, blue and black, and please don't forget black eyeliner
I have blue-green eyes and brown hair myself. I love to wear pinkish eyeshadow, along with golds and browns. Most colors work really well, but those are my favorites. Good luck, and have a very Merry Christmas!
Wow. You sound gorgeous. Anyway you should use a light brown eyeshadow with sparkles. You could try M.A.C or Too Faced. M.A.C mascara is the best it makes your eyes pop. My best advice is to shop around... get some fahion magazines and try to see if they're a look there that you like.
do like a light gold or a bronze color it will brngout the color in your eyes and your dress. About the lips i'd go with a clear gloss or somthing very light colored
OMG that's sooo pretty!!! Brunnete with blue eyes is like amazing! But I suggest that you maybe go to try to make your eyes look as blue as possible and wear dark black eyeliner and I love that cheap stuff mascara from mayebllien with the XXL (the white stuff makes your eyelashes SOOOO LONG!!!!!!!) i love it!
Can never go wrong with brown eye shadow mate. I can get away with the greens and blues aswell as I have blonde hair and blue eyes. Best advice I can give you is just experiment. Or even better, im sure there are some shops that give free make-overs and they can give you the best advice. Good luck!
